James S. Gardiner - Product Designer
I have been working with precast concrete for 27 years now. In 1997, after many years of making all wood furniture, I felt like my pieces needed some other material added to it to give it more life. I started working with concrete to create table tops for the tables I was making at that time. By 2001, I was doing custom concrete countertops and fireplace mantels as a full-time business. In 2014, I decided to retire from doing custom concrete work and dedicate my time to making one-of-a-kind items to sell and Atmosphyre was born.

He has worked in many industries, including medical and lab equipment, military laser warfare support, motorsports and aftermarket automotive industry, and most recently, a major U.S. appliance manufacturer. Aaron J. Gardiner - Company Manager
Aaron is the heart of concrete and aged brass production, but where he really shines is in our hand-aged antique brass finish. He is our Master Brass Finisher, having spent countless hours studying aged brass pieces from around the world.
Kattia Cortes - Brass Manager
Kat is the heart and soul of brass finishing. She handles everything related to our plumbing fixtures, from start to finish, every day, and takes great pride in her work.
Brittany Elbourn-Brass Finisher
After visiting the area and touring Atmosphyre in October last year, Brittany decided to stay and work side-by-side with her younger brother Aaron to learn about the brass business. She is perpetually curious about the world, near and far, and learning new skills and trades. When Brittany isn't rocking out brass orders and bringing sunshiny vibes to Atmosphyre, she explores the country in her bus with her two pups, Pasta and Sola.
John Raimer - Machinist
John’s specialty is creating our prototype faucet pieces and bringing a sketch of something to life. Between his old Bridgeport milling machine and lathe, there isn’t anything John can’t make.
Yukon (aka fluffy love chair thief)
Named after Yukon Cornelius, his name fits him so well because he acts like he has the strength of a lion. The only things that scare this puppy are fly swatters, handtrucks, blowing leaves and baby crickets. Other than that he fears nothing. :)
