The second sink in our collection of reproduction antique wooden bowls is from Bulgaria. Carved from a solid piece of English chestnut, this sink clearly shows the tooling marks left by the craftsman’s chisel who made it, as well as the wormholes that would come over time. We have recreated these wooden bowls in every detail and cast them in stone. So you have the warm tones of an aged wooden bowl but with the long-lasting durability of stone. Every detail from the original antique wooden bowl has been reproduced, right down to the off-white colored liming wax along the top rim of the sink. You simply cannot tell that it’s not a wooden bowl. The sink has an irregular top rim and is slightly higher on one side than the other. Each sink is finished by hand, so no two sinks are exactly the same. It has a lifetime sealer coat on it and takes a standard 1-1/4” or 1-1/2” sink drain. There is no overflow hole with this sink; however, you can use an overflow or non-overflow drain with it. The sink measures 21” wide by 14” front to back and 4-1/2” high. Weight is 18 lbs. The sink does not include a drain or faucet shown.
